Football ready

The Bogalusa Middle School Football team recently went to two football camps in preparation of the upcoming season.

The Timberjacks are coming off an 8-1 record a year ago. They open the season at the Mount Hermon Middle School Jamboree Aug. 26.

Bogalusa attended the 3rd Annual Camp Flash free football camp hosted by Dallas Cowboy Cletis Gordon on July 16 at Amite High School Football Stadium and the Team Football Camp sponsored by the Ponchatoula Little Conference League featuring St. Louis Ram Marcus Brown, Indianapolis Colt Darrick Brown and Tampa Bay Buccaneer Lee Robertson on July 19 at Ponchatoula High School.
