The league, consisting of five teams, play three games every Sunday beginning at 4 p.m. and are expected to compete through Aug. 16.
“It has been very competitive,” league co-director Ken Martin said. “The summer league gives an opportunity for young adults to go out and participate in a competitive environment in games that are officiated.”

There are currently five teams in the league, including the Street Dawgs, A-Team, Conquerors, Future Stars and Black Mambas.
The Street Dawgs pushed their record to a league-best 7-0 with a 103-74 victory over the Future Stars in games played Monday due to the July Fourth holiday.
“They have a very athletic offense and so far have proven to be unstoppable,” Martin said.
The Street Dawgs’ leading scorer is Samaj Richardson and Boona Scott serves as captain.
Brian Williams leads the Future Stars (2-5) in scoring and Lewis Jarvis is captain.
In other action Monday, the A-Team defeated the Black Mambas 84-72 to remain on the heels of the Street Dawgs with a 5-2 record.
Deric Abrams is the A-Team captain and William “Bam” Smith is the leading scorer.
Rod Crumedy serves as captain of the Black Mambas (2-5) and Ryan Crumedy and Corey Gaines are the leading scorers.
The Conquerors’ captain is Kendon Grant and Ed Fland, Drew Galloway and Chip Dawson are the leading scorers.
A seeded single-elimination tournament is planned at the conclusion of the season.
“All teams have an outside shot,” Martin said.
The games are open to the public and admission is free. Concession stands are also open.
