PINE – Neco Electrical cut the deficit to 5-2 in the fifth inning before Archbishop Hannan answered with eight runs to claim the first of an American Legion District 6 East Division doubleheader 15-3 in six innings Tuesday afternoon at Raider Field.

Hannan Post 16 went on to win the second game 14-4.

“We fell apart at the end of both games,” Pine head coach Blake Dillon said. “We haven’t found out how to close a game yet. Our pitching gets wild and we fall apart with errors. One big inning kills you in baseball every time.”
