Football fanatics were given a brief glimpse of the upcoming fall football season Wednesday afternoon when Franklinton traveled to Covington to square off against St. Paul’s in a 7-on-7  scrimmage at Hunger Stadium. Fans will not have long to wait for the real thing, as the season begins in a little more than a month. Franklinton’s Tyson Magee takes off on an 80-yard interception return for a touchdown behind the blocking of Harley Ivy in the Demons’ 54-12 win.
